Atlantic Sea Nettles, Chrysaora sp., are a type of jellyfish found in the brackish regions of the Chesapeake Bay.  They do not survive in the full salinity but where fresh water of rivers meet the ocean and mix to create the brackish water environment their bodies require. It is reported that Sea Nettles bloom in prodigious numbers.

We are refining the collection and shipping process with our collector. It is our hope to have wild-caught as available, and as soon as possible, tank raised specimens.
